Thailand, formerly known as Siam, is one of the best holiday destinations in the world and it is located on the Indochinese peninsula of Southeast Asia. The country is bordered by Myanmar to the north, Laos to the northeast, Cambodia to the east, Malaysia to the south and China to the west. Thailand’s capital city is Bangkok and the most popular places to visit in Thailand are Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Pattaya, Phuket, and Khao Lak.

The best season to visit Thailand is during the winter months when the temperature remains cool all through. The monsoon season is from June to September, however, this is not advisable as it will be humid and rainy all throughout. From October to November, the temperature goes down as it reaches the lowest point. During the month of December, the weather is cold and dry and the sea is calm.
